PADI DIVEMASTER CLASS
Your adventure into the professional level of recreational diving begins with the PADI Divemaster program. Working closely with a PADI Instructor, in this program you expand your dive knowledge and improve your skills to the professional level. This training program develops leadership abilities, qualifies you to supervise dive activities and assist instructors with student divers. Dive leadership skills are developed through both classroom and independent study. Water skills and stamina exercises, as well as training exercises that expand your ability to organize and solve problems are conducted, as well as learning to help others improve their scuba. This knowledge is put into action through a structured program of practical training exercises.
PADI ASSISTANT INSTRUCTOR /OPEN WATER SCUBA INSTRUCTOR
You not only gain additional experience as a PADI Professional, but you also start learning the PADI System of diver education. You can act as an instructional scuba assistant and assume limited teaching responsibilities. It’s a great way to gain experience in order to become a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor! The PADI Assistant Instructor (AI) course can be scheduled as a stand-alone course or completed along with the PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor (OWSI) course as part of the entire IDC all at one time.
PADI INSTRUCTOR DEVELOPMENT COURSE
The Instructor Development Course (IDC) is designed to prepare qualified candidates to become PADI Instructors.
In order to become a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor, a qualified student must successfully complete the Instructor Development Course (IDC) and then attend and pass the PADI Instructor Exam (IE). After successful completion of the PADI Instructor Examination (IE), PADI will award candidates the Open Water Scuba Instructor certification.
PADI MASTER SCUBA DIVER TRAINER PREP PROGRAM
The Master Scuba Diver Trainer Prep program consists of 5 PADI Specialty Instructor Courses. This program trains instructors how to conduct specialty training dives, briefings, and how to organize and market PADI Specialty Diver courses. Our MSDT prep program offers a choice of any 5 of the following PADI Specialty Instructor courses:
IDC STAFF INSTRUCTOR
The IDC Staff Instructor course is designed to provide a PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer with the additional training necessary to assist in teaching PADI IDC’s. A qualified IDC Staff Instructor is certified to teach PADI Assistant Instructor courses and assist in instructor-level training. In addition to topics covered in the IDC, evaluation training in knowledge development, confined water and open water is also included. Diving skills are brought up to IDC demonstration quality.
PADI EMERGENCY FIRST RESPONSE INSTRUCTOR
The PADI Emergency First Response (EFR) and Care for Children (CFC) Instructor Course builds on Emergency Responder skills and focuses on developing your instructional abilities to teach these skills to others. The Instructor course provides the additional training necessary to teach the Emergency First Response Primary Care (CPR), Secondary Care (First Aid) and Care for Children courses. Through a multi-media approach of independent study, classroom sessions and practical teaching assignments, you learn to conduct the Emergency First Response courses.
