PADI IDC STAFF INSTRUCTOR COURSE

The IDC Staff Instructor course is designed to provide a PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer with the additional training necessary to staff PADI IDC’s. This training furthers teaching abilities, through independent study and classroom sessions, and water skills are brought up to IDC demonstration quality. The first segment of the course is conducted prior to an actual IDC, and candidates then participate in an entire IDC and develop evaluation and counseling skills through guided training.

A qualified IDC Staff Instructor is certified to independently teach PADI Assistant Instructor courses and assist in instructor-level training.

NOTE: All IDC Staff Instructor candidates are also required to have all materials required of instructor candidates as well as current student materials from the PADI Open Water Diver, PADI Advanced Open Water Diver, PADI Rescue Diver and PADI Divemaster.

BCD with low pressure inflator system
Single hose regulator with alternate air source device
Submersible pressure gauge (computers are acceptable)
Depth gauge (computers are acceptable)
Compass (computers are acceptable)
Bottom timing device (computers are acceptable)

Schedule:
We offer a convenient format, for you to become a PADI IDC Staff Instructor. Our program is conducted over a six week period on evenings and weekends.

Certification Awarded:
