Open Water Diver Traveler Program

If you’ve always wanted to learn how to scuba dive, go on exotic scuba diving vacations, or simply see the beauty of the underwater world, then let Dosil’s be your choice to start your training with our Open Water Diver Traveler Program. You can take the classroom and pool training sessions of the PADI Open Water Diver Course at Dosil’s Scuba, then you can complete your Open Water Training Dives on vacation elsewhere, or during one of our group travel programs. Our Open Water Traveler Training Program includes the use of scuba diving equipment, which includes a buoyancy compensating device, a regulator with dive computer, and scuba tanks.

Entry Requirements:
*You must be at least 10 years of age. The student must be able to swim 200 yards freestyle with or without a mask and snorkel and tread water for 10 minutes without dipping their head underwater.

Course Materials:
PADI Open Water Diver Crew Pack
PADI Open Water DVD

OR
eLearning: PADI Open Water Diver eLearning Program.
PADI Diver’s Log and Training Record
(This program includes lifetime access to the PADI Digital Open Water Diver Manual).
You can start this program anytime, anywhere as long as you have an internet connection.

Equipment Needed:
All of the equipment you need to participate in the class is included – except your mask, snorkel, fins and boots, weights and weight belt. Students are required to provide these items since they are very personal and should be individually fitted.

We encourage our students to purchase their own additional personal items as fit and comfort are very important to the enjoyment of diving. These items may also include a wetsuit. Weights and weight belt may be rented, when enrolled in our Open Water Diver Traveler Program, instead of purchased, if desired.

You can pick up all the equipment that you will need for the course at our full- service dive shop!

In time you may want to invest in owning your own scuba equipment such as regulator, buoyancy compensator, and dive computer. At Dosil’s we have special student package pricing discounts for all our students.

Schedules:
Beginning your scuba training is easy and convenient, designed to fit the busy schedules of just about everyone. We offer you a choice of learning the academic sections in a classroom setting or online, and all pool training is done in our on-site heated pool.
