The PADI Divemaster course is your first level of professional training and is a pre-requisite for the PADI Instructor Development Course (IDC). The focus of the IDC is on preparing you to function as a PADI Assistant Instructor or Open Water Scuba Instructor. Continue your education by becoming a PADI Specialty Instructor. Having five specialty instructor ratings is a prerequisite for the Master Scuba Diver Trainer (MSDT) rating. Following is the IDC Staff Instructor Course which trains Master Scuba Diver Trainers to act as assistants during instructor-level training courses.
